In memory of Catherine Bowick, please donate to Heart&Stroke.

In honour of my late mother Catherine Bowick (nee Sieben) I'm committing to walking 1km (or more) every day of May 2026.

 Catherine Bowick went to her heavenly home 25 years ago this coming May 18th. She used to ask to go for walk with me and loved spending time with those she cared about and always tried hard to be a good example and live as Jesus taught. She was a kind and lovely woman who had a hard upbringing but found her faith would comfort her through the many trials and tribulations through her (too short) life.

I’m raising money for Heart&Stroke, as my mom had a stroke in her 30’s, then another the month before she passed away of a heart attack because her doctor in Camrose would not listen that she kept having trouble breathing; gaslighting my mom by just saying it was anxiety. Including less than 8 hours before she died. 

I hope that by committing to walking in her memory for the month of May, it will help others.
