Day 8 - another 14KM walk in the park

Day 8 update: reporting live from Hole #12 at Markland ⛳👟

Yes, I came to golf again
and somehow still ended up padding the step count (shocking, I know).

Current situation:
‱ Ball: occasionally in the fairway
‱ Steps: quietly piling up
‱ Score: let’s stay focused on the cause 😁

Day 5 - we're rolling now

Day 5 check-in team 👟
We’re officially rolling now.
Mh day started at 9am with 2 hours of pickleball followed by a couple of km's with our designated  Captain Tilly. 
Current status: ‱ our kms: adding up nicely
‱ Energy: surprisingly good
‱ Knees: need a maintenance day

Remember: Every km counts.
Every donation helps.
And every one of us is one blister closer to greatness.😀

Day 6 - dull and rainy

Today’s conditions: were cool, rainy, and highly supportive of “maybe tomorrow” energy. 😁

But not on our watch.
Captain Tilly dragged me around the block anyway and made it very clear that excuses are not part of the Pace Makers training program. 

Current team status: ‱ our kms are climbing
‱ Knees are negotiating
‱ Donation streak is alive 🙌

Rainy days are GREAT donation days 💾

Let’s keep the momentum going team.

Day 4 - how are you doing

Alright team 👟 Quick Day 4 check-in
 How are we doing out there? Are we: A) Crushing our kms B) Getting them done “just in time” C) Negotiating with our step counters 😁 No judgment—only accountability. Couple reminders: ‱ 1 km a day = very doable (yes, even for us) ‱ Consistency is the win ‱ Every step + every dollar will actually matter Also
 how are your donations looking? Friendly nudge: don’t leave it all to the overachievers (you know who you are 👀) Even a quick message to your network can shake loose a few loonies and toonies 💾 Let’s keep the momentum going—walking and raising a few bucks along the way. We’re doing something good, while slowly turning into finely tuned endurance athletes. The team captain added another 2km in her walk today, She's crushing it! 🐕 Keep going đŸ’Șonly 27 more days. Day 3 update: fun day on the course 👟⛳

18 holes = 14 km

Turns out chasing a small white ball for 4 hours really adds up. Who knew?

Feeling: good at the 19th hole.

Better news—Day 3 is DONE (and then some.

It starts today!

Welcome to Day 1.

Like you, I’ve been training all winter for this đŸ‹ïžâ€â™‚ïž

Serious daily endurance work. Long 2-hour treadmill sessions on a very, very steep 11 incline. Some would say it’s extreme.

Many people (1000's)  are saying it’s the greatest incline ever seen in a gym. People come over, shake their heads, and say: “Sir
 we’ve never seen anything like this.”
And I say: “I know.” 😉

Right now you’re thinking this shows incredible discipline and commitment. And you’re absolutely right—you have tremendous judgement.

It’s exactly what we need to complete this KM-a-day challenge together. It was either this
 or climb Mt. Everest.
But Tilly the Wonder Dog chose this path, so here we are. Tilly has also been carbo-loading all week on rice in preparation for our first KM.

I plan to run on high-fructose energy drinks and incredible optimism that has never been stress-tested.

So yes—1 KM today should be fine. In theory.

 and post your updates as well.
