It is scariest when it strikes close to your heart

Friday 24th Jul

My mother ( Mary c. Hughes ) had a major stroke on June 18/26 in the early morning. I am so glad that with her nursing background she recognized the signs and acted quickly. A short ambulance ride to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre and a tragedy was avoided.

She luckily avoided serious complications and is on the mend. Thanks to everyone who treated her and the grace of God. I appreciate all the prayers from family and friends.

We only have one mother and I am not ready for her to leave us
