I will be taking part in the Hiking Challenge to raise funds in memory of my dad, Andre Derosier.
We lost him suddenly to a heart attack just days before Christmas, in a moment that changed our lives forever. He was wrapping gifts for my sister and I, quietly taking care of his family as he always did.
Through this challenge, in honouring his memory and working to raise funds for research so that more lives can be saved and more families can be spared this kind of heartbreak.
