How so many steps? GET A REFERRAL
Tuesday 24th Feb There are 3 of us doing the challenge, Tom, Alli and I. Still not done. If you have any of the following: prediabetes (or are diabetic), high blood pressure, high cholesterol, you smoke, are overweight, family history or you just feel like something is off, ASK your family Dr. for a referral. I just got the all clear from 2 cardiologists and it's the best news given my dads history! Share
Feb. 10, 1986 & Jan. 1, 2016
Monday 9th Feb Tomorrow marks the day I lost my dad to a massive heart attack 40 years ago. It's incredible how one can have such an impact on your life. I think about this incredible man every single day. I miss him. He did not survive his heart attack; it was instant death. Klaus had 11 years of scary medical issues, it started with blood clots in his legs, then TIAs and then he had a massive stroke and survived 5.5 years. He wasn't able to speak and was paralyzed on his right side. In addition, he had a perforated bowel which resulted in him having BRUTAL surgery and having to have 2 colostomy bags. They were eventually reversed and those too were brutal surgeries. He was in the hospital for 2 years. He suffered tremendously but managed to come to terms with his disabilities and smiled every day. In the end he had a cardiac arrest, we managed to resuscitate him, but he died 5 days later on January 1, 2016. We donated 7 of his organs. We miss him every day, his silent strength brought our family so much stability. I am grateful to have Tom and Alli. We have all struggled tremendously but we can now cope. If you read this, thank you very much. :'( Love to all of you that have endured horrific scenarios like this. Share

This is a great way to remember Klaus….hard to believe it’s been 10 years. Love you all ❤️
