Wednesday 29th Apr

On May 9 2025..I went to bed like any normal night but was awoke from my sleep with back pain and chest pain. Thought it would go away I laid back down. Couldn't get comfortable and wouldn't go away so I got up and walked a bit. Thought to myself that I should get checked out so I called an ambulance and sure enough I was having a heart attack.

Upon arriving at CGH I was seen by Dr.Chard after some testing he said I was having a massive heart attack and I would have to be transfered to St.Johns for further testing.

After arriving here I was seen by an amazing cardiac team in the cardiac care unit who took exceptional care of me.

After a few hours I was given a test to show if I had any blockages in my arteries to my surprise I had 10 blockages. So bypass surgery was planned for 3 days later. I am so thankful for my surgeon and her team for saving my life that day.
