I'm walking 50km for my dad
Last year, my dad told me he considered every day since his 2001 bypass surgery a gift he felt lucky to get. A couple of weeks later, in December 2025, he passed away after suffering a severe heart attack.
In those "lucky" years, he saw my sister and I both get married; he met, got to know and love five grandkids; he spent countless hours with his wife and friends; and even more hours on the golf course.
I'm raising money for Heart & Stroke to help more people get those lucky days.
