1KM / Day May for a cause
Saturday 25th Apr
This May, I’m committing to something simple but powerful: walking 1 kilometer every day to support the Heart and Stroke Foundation. It’s not about speed, distance records, or extreme fitness—it’s about consistency, intention, and making a small daily choice that adds up to real impact.
Heart disease and stroke affect millions of people and families every year. Many of us know someone who’s been impacted, or we’ve felt the effects ourselves. This challenge is my way of turning awareness into action—one step at a time.
Walking just 1KM a day might seem small, but that’s the point. It’s accessible, sustainable, and something almost anyone can join. Over 31 days, those kilometers add up—not just in distance, but in momentum, awareness, and support for life-saving research and care.
Along the way, I’m hoping to build a routine, clear my head, and improve my own health. But more importantly, I want to contribute to a cause that helps others live longer, healthier lives.
If you’ve been looking for a reason to get moving, this is it. Join me, support the cause, or simply take a walk for your own heart. Small steps, every day—together, they make a difference.
