Tuesday 10th MarThree years ago, in February 2023, I thought we were about to lose my mama.
Her heart was broken. Â
She was grey and lifeless. Â
Nurses were asking me if she had a DNR. Â
I remember the panic so clearly — stepping into the hallway, my hands shaking, calling my Auntie down the street to come right away. It felt like the world stopped in that moment.
But somehow… here we are.
Three years later.
Stronger. Still here. Still fighting. Still grateful for every single day we get together.
That experience changed our family. It reminded us how fragile life can be and how powerful community support is during the hardest moments.
So today I’m reaching out.
