Walking for Winnie ♥️

I’m walking in honour of my beautiful mom, Winnie.

My mom loved to walk. She was an avid walker, and walking was simply part of who she was. In 2023, shortly after being diagnosed with glioblastoma, she suffered a devastating stroke that left her paralyzed for the final four months of her life.

Mom passed away in February 2024, just one day shy of her 86th birthday.

So this walk feels especially meaningful to me. I’m walking for Heart & Stroke, but most of all, I’m walking for Winnie; for the woman who loved to walk and, in the end, lost the ability to do something that had brought her so much joy.

I would absolutely love to have you walk with me. You do not need to donate to join my team. Your presence, your steps, and your support would mean so much to me. Whether you knew my mom or simply want to walk alongside me in her memory, you are very welcome.
