Day 10 Update
Sunday 10th May As I finished up my day 10 walk I was thinking to myself how far I've come in only just over a week. My pace is up, my average distance is increasing, and I feel really good and able to go at a steady pace. Consistency really is the key. My back and hips still get a bit achy but not enough to slow me down. Onward and upwards! Share
Getting off my butt
Tuesday 28th Apr From 2015 to 2020, I was at the gym a minimum of 3 times a week. The pandemic hit, gyms closed and my activity level plummeted. I put on weight, developed type 2 diabetes and put myself at a much higher risk for Heart Disease and possible strokes. Seeing the 1K a day challenge was just the thing to get me off my couch and out the door to get me moving.Thank you to my Donors
