STEPS FOR SCOTTY
Walking in honour of Scott “Scotty” Balfour, who passed away unexpectedly from a stroke in 2023 at the age of 67.Â
 My dad was someone who found joy in the everyday, saw the good in people, and brought energy, laughter, and connection wherever he went. He loved deeply, lived life on his own terms, and left a lasting impression on everyone lucky enough to know him.
As part of the Heart & Stroke 1K a Day Challenge, we’re taking each step with him in mind and celebrating his life while raising awareness and funds to fight stroke. Scotty’s circle was wide - family, friends, and countless others whose lives he touched - so we know we can raise a bunch of money for this worthy organization.
In his spirit, we encourage you to pay kindness forward, reach out to someone you’ve been meaning to call, say “I love you” often, and make the most of every day. 💙
