We’re walking 1K a day this May in memory of our dad, Brad Ross, and to support the incredible work of the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Our dad passed away suddenly on January 1, 2026, and while nothing can prepare you for that kind of loss, we’ve been holding onto the things that made him him. He was the kind of person who showed up for everything, especially if it involved family, sports, or a good laugh. Whether he was cheering from the stands, analyzing a game like a pro, or giving a standing ovation at a grandkid’s concert, he brought energy, humour, and heart into every moment.
This walk is our way of honouring him. It’s about moving forward, one step at a time, while keeping his memory close. It’s also about raising awareness and supporting research so more families can have more time with the people they love.
If you knew Brad, you know he’d probably tell us not to take it too seriously… and then cheer us on louder than anyone.
