HUGE APPRECIATION for folks that have taken the time to donate, read my story and send love and support. Kai and I are on the way to 90km in September. We are walking to celebrate 🙌🏼 my journey with SCAD. Support other survivors and most of all support the research and prevention and understanding of SCAD in the future.

SCAD Perspective

Thursday 27th Aug

In August 2022, it was discovered that I had spontaneously dissected TWO coronary arteries. I have never been known to do anything halfway….so I had to achieve the nearly impossible.

Completely unexpected but a wake up call to chill, take breaks and go at my own pace, regardless of the pace of others. I have learned to advocate for myself and not let the little moments pass by.

I am choosing to walk this September for myself. A reminder that I choose my own destination and my own pace.
