I survived cardiac arrest a year ago.

Monday 25th May

I survived cardiac arrest last year, because I was lucky to have my brilliant and beautiful, former first responder/police/paramedic CPR trained wife by my side to save my life. The odds were not in our favor - 10-30% in fact. We are grateful every day. 

I was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in April of 2024 after having COVID in the previous November. Heart disease sucks and I was healthy as a horse prior. The anniversary of my cardiac arrest is coming up on June 4th and this opportunity is a perfect way to celebrate.  

We are also doing this in honour of my Dad and Lynn's brother KC, who did not survive their heart attacks and Lynn's Mom another family member who survived strokes. There is a huge need to continue the research into Heart and Stroke. Any amount helps, if you can contribute to this cause I'd greatly appreciate it.
