Walking for My Family, My Health & My Future
Saturday 29th Aug
This September, I’m challenging myself to walk 90 kilometres for Heart & Stroke. ❤️
This cause is especially close to my heart because I have lost both my nanny (grandma) and my mom to heart disease. Losing them has made me realize just how important it is to take my own heart health seriously.
I’m doing this walk in their memory, but I’m also doing it for me. I want to get healthier, get moving, and make better choices for my future. I want to do everything I can to lower my own risk of heart disease and hopefully be here for my family for many, many years to come.
90 km is a big goal for me, but I’m ready to take it one kilometre—and one step—at a time. 👣
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount would mean so much to me and would help support Heart & Stroke’s work in research, prevention, and helping people affected by heart disease and stroke.
And if you can’t donate, cheering me on, sharing my page, or simply taking a walk with me would mean just as much. ❤️
For my nanny. For my mom. For my family. And for me.
90 km. One step at a time. ❤️👣
