Stroke Could Happen to the Most Active Person We Know
Saturday 15th AugOn what began as a perfectly ordinary morning, I never imagined our life could change with a single phone call. A stranger’s voice told me my husband had fallen while walking the dogs. I remember thinking it had to be a mistake, a joke or a wrong number. .
My husband, only 51 and one of the most active people I know, had suffered a stroke. In an instant, the familiar rhythm of our lives was replaced with fear and disbelief, I never saw coming.
Stoke could happen to anyone.
