Evening birthday walk.

Today I challenged myself to an hour even though I didn’t feel like it, and added an extra 3.9km to the total. Yay me! Also wishing my treadmill had a km setting.

My why…

It has been a decade and a half since I went for a run (for fun), but as I approach my 41st birthday this February I am setting some goals for myself to do good things for my health and try to give back to others at a time when the world is so uncertain. My grandma turns 100 this February so I have set a modest goal of $100, please feel free to donate if you have the means and wish to support me. If not I would still love for you to follow my month long journey to reach or exceed 50km for the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation. I will post on Instagram stories daily to keep myself accountable and motivated. All walks/runs will be in addition to my daily routine.
