Jason’s heart

Tuesday 3rd Feb
Jason was born prematurely and developed a heart murmur right away. He was followed by Sick Kids Hospital as a child and since then a cardiologist - some good some not so good.
14 years ago Jason needed his aortic valve to be repaired - thankfully he had the worlds best heart surgeon Dr Tyrone David. 
14 years later the valve was in worse safe then before the initial open hear surgery.
Jason had his second surgery Jan 5/26 and chose to have a mechanical valve - his surgery was long and complex. Unfortunately the mechanical valve didn’t do its job and another open heart surgery happened within the week. 
Can you imagine?   Jan 13/26 Jason went back under the knife and was given a bovine valve. Now he has a beefed up heart!!  Two days later they gave Jason a new pacemaker because one of the wires from the old pacemaker got loose and found its way INTO his heart. 
All this happened at Toronto General  and he was blessed to have World Renowned Dr David to perform the suegeries.  Jason’s wife and three daughters were all there as support
He is home now and doing really well! 
This is my personal reason for wanting to raise funds for Heart and Stroke!  Please consider donating to this worthy cause! Thank you ♥️

Many of you know my 52 year old brother has TWO open heart surgeries in January of 2026
(His first was 14 years ago for valve repair)
I was to honour his journey by fundraising for Heart and Stroke
