Janissa Cassells

My Dad passed away suddenly from a heart attack at the young age of 56. He had battled heart disease for years before this and suffered a stroke, had a shunt put in and was on several medications, but nothing worked, and he still lost his life. He never got to watch his grandchildren grow up, and we missed out on so much time with him. His first great grandson is named after him to keep his memory alive even though he will never get to know him personally. 

If you knew him, you’ll know that he was the kindest soul. He was my best friend growing up and coached my softball team for 8 years. I will forever cherish those memories. 

This September I'm walking 90km in memory of my Dad. I'm on a mission to raise vital funds for Heart & Stroke, and I can’t do it alone. Every donation, big or small, brings me one step closer to my fundraising goal. Will you join me in making a difference?
