June is Stroke Awareness Month

Saturday 30th May

❤️🧠 June is Stroke Awareness Month and this June, I am taking on the Heart & Stroke Hike Challenge.

In October, I experienced an ischemic stroke. To honour my recovery journey and help raise awareness that stroke can happen to anyone, at any age, I am committed to hiking 60km throughout the month of June.

Funds raised directly support the Heart & Stroke Foundation, to support life-saving research, education, advocacy, and programs for stroke survivors.

If you’re able, please consider making a donation or sharing this post to help spread awareness. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference and helps support Canadians affected by heart disease and stroke.
