This August I'm walking and fundraising for Heart & Stroke. I am taking part in this fundraiser because heart disease became deeply personal for me.

Someone very close to me survived a Widowmaker heart attack with only an 11% chance of survival. Watching them fight through that experience changed my perspective forever. It also taught me so much about heart health, the importance of recognizing the warning signs, and how critical research, education, and timely care truly are.

I'm participating to honour their incredible strength and to help raise awareness and funds so that more people have the chance to survive and recover.
