Swimming for Heart and Stroke

Well, today I reached my goal of 15 km for the month of July and have exceeded what I had hoped for donations. I enjoyed this challenge so much, working towards my personal goal of becoming more physically active in my 60’s. I was thrilled when this challenge came out and realized that I could combine my personal goals with raising money for such a great cause. All of us know someone that has been affected by stroke or heart disease, and none of us want it to happen to us personally, but every family suffers. I was thinking this morning I would move my distance goal, questioning, can I do 20km? I’ve got 5 days left, so that’s another 4 km, I think I can!

I want to thank everyone that has donated thus far and has supported this challenge! It makes me feel great that I’m helping others and now so are you. From the bottom of my heart, thanks for the support! 💚
