In June 2025 - I was diagnosed with heart failure mere days before my 39th birthday.
While doctors are unsure of what exactly caused my heart failure - I am working everyday towards strengthening my heart function in order to live a fruitful life.
I knew I was experiencing some sort of health issue but I was ashamed, embarrassed and kept putting off seeking medical attention until my quality of life took a massive turn.
It’s time to put me first. Celebrate me. I am here to say - it’s ok to ask for help when you feel like you are drowning.
